Below are my doodle book notes to "The Mindful Athlete" by George Mumford. I first discovered it during my college basketball career when recovering from an injury. As mentioned in other places, injuries helped me slow down and learn about mental performance. One of the first books I read was this one. I thoroughly enjoyed and implemented many of the mindsets the author shares. "The Mindful Athlete" is an essential read for any athlete looking to learn about and upgrade their mindset. As opposed to the general sayings "improve your mindset," which many of us were told, Mumford brings practical ways to do just that.
